Dana Geissler

Dana Geissler was born in Munich in 1963 and comes from a famous family of artists. Her great-grandmother Käthe Kruse became known worldwide for her dolls and her great-grandfather Max Kruse created the first three-dimensional stage sets together with Max Reinhardt. This made it all the more of an honor for Dana to complete her acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, and after her training she performed at the Salzburg Festival under the direction of Jürgen Flimm in "Der Bauer als Millionär", at the Frankfurt Volkstheater and on various stages. Her first roles in front of the camera soon followed, and she became known to a wider audience through her leading role as police chief Nina Kaiser in the RTL crime series "Die Wache". She proved her comic talent in the SAT 1 comedy series "Mircomania", which was honored with the "Silver Rose of Montreux" award.  In addition to her work as an actress, Dana has been creating audio books with her soulful voice for years and can be heard as a dubbing artist and commentator in many film and television productions. She has also been coaching and teaching for years and successfully gives seminars on the subject of body language/voice/impact.Dana lives with her family in Munich.
